Mascot Duels?

I believe that at halftime of every football game, we ought to make real life mascots representing the two teams fight to the death at midfield.
I'd love to see Mike chewing on a fighting chicken or a bulldog femur. How about you?

I want to see the tiger eat the Notre Dame leprechaun.
Since ND gets to be in a BCS game if they get to 9-3 and #14 nationally, I would like to see that THIS winter, in a BCS game vs LSU.
LSU can be SEC runnerup or SEC champ I dont care, as long as Mike the tiger gets to fight the leprechaun at halftime.
I suppose leprechaun has a CHANCE, since he knows to prepare for this fight and he has his shillelagh.

I've always thought it would be cool to do that during pregame. They could put a dog or a chicken in his cage and let Mike kill and eat it. PETA can go to hell. The problem is that the ACLU might get involved when we start putting Rebels and Plainsmen and Volunteers and Commodores in there with him.

One year back in the 1980s or 1990s, going into the NCAA tournament, some columnist wrote a funny piece on how to pick your bracket based on mascots. He had a whole set of classifications of different types of mascots and the rules on who wins when they meet. It was kinda funny.
