Who will be the go-to guys on offense at the END of the season?

I say JJ will still be QB, Ridley will be our 4th & 1 back, and toliver will be our deep threat while RR will catch the needed short passes

Haha think he is more of a game changer. Not a go-to guy. He could gain 20 or lose 5.

Russell Shepard hasn't been tackled for a loss yet. The guy just finds 3yds.

I'd say losing the ball is taking a loss.....

Not necessarily a single play... he had a net of -1 yard for the game. Before his run against Auburn, he had 5 carries for 2 yards... etc etc.

I'm not saying that he's not a great option to have, but he's hardly infallible. He did find holes that a squirrel couldn't have squeezed through, but I wouldn't expect any Heisman hype anytime soon.

Why does no one ever mention Michael Ford? IMO he is a force to be reckoned with. He speed, his mind, his determination will be a great asset to the Tigers this season!! This guy is a great running back and will be turning heads this fall!!!

I'll do you one better... why does no one ever mention Spencer Ware? Name one thing that Ford has done to show that he should be the starting RB over Murphy and Ridley.

Care to look at what Murphy did in every Spring Game in which he participated? You can't assume it will translate.

I think crazy legs is a little bit different of a situation. Ford did his business in between the tackles.

Murphy....

He's had nearly 4 years to show something...

NEXT!

Again... Mark my words... Ford will be starting back by game 3....

True. But he did it without running through Downs, Nevis, and Sheppard. He definitely impressed, but its way too early to say he'll pass either of those ahead of him on the depth chart, continue in the line of Hester and Scott, etc. etc.

Right now, there's nothing to go by other than a glorified scrimage and the benefit of being the attractive name out of high school... the trend never ends. Next year we'll be talking about how *knock on wood* Hill and Hilliard are going to pass everyone on the depth chart and rack up 100 yards apiece in every game.

I don't buy it until I see them in game situations.
