The SEC should...

tell A&M and whomever else they invite to join that the offer is a ONE TIME OFFER.
Don't join now, and you'll never get another shot.
After all, the SEC really doesn't need any other teams to be the best.

as long as the big xii stays together there is no need to even offer an invite

A report I heard said that A&M had "a standing or open offer" to join the SEC. Not really sure what that means or if it's true. Just passing on what I heard.

A more natural growth of the SEC would be from the East Coast: North Carolina, Miami, FSU, Ga Tech.

Never burn any bridges. Should Texas A&M stay, they can never say the SEC did not helped them line their pockets with cash and a better TV deal.

The status quo is fine for the SEC. The SEC just didn't want the PAC 10 or Big 10 to gain too much.

Does that mean they no longer are mad about the 100K they say we owe them?

Exactly, it makes no difference what TAM does, we stopped the UT agenda and the PAC power grab. We are in no need to expand and tampered with no conference. The SEC comes out fine no matter what TAM does.
