Listen Live to Houston Radio Sports 610 Now About All This

LINKBilly Liucci from Maroon and White is now being interviewed on the show.
Liucci is saying A&M should go ahead and make the jump because Texas will try and move again later.
Liucci is also saying A&M needs to go to the SEC for the right reasons, not because of ego issues with Texas. He says A&M has stood their ground and not blinked and has shown Texas they will do what is in the best interest of Texas A&M.
Texas A&M has meeting to day at 4pm and may make their decision today.

Chop Chop, The only place I get my information is from Tony "The Hatchetman" Valentine on 1560! Screw 610. Besides, Luici is a regular on 1560 and I am sure they will have him on during my drive home today.

I think the posters on here are more knowledgeable than Rich Lord. 610 made a huge mistake firing John and Lance a few years ago. It was "THE" sports radio station. Now they are irrelevant.

790 is waaaayyyy better than 97.5. Charlie Pallilo is the best host in the city by far.

He has, by far, the most well rounded sports knowledge. But there has to be some level of entertainment or humor break during 4 hours. I think John & Lance surpass him because of this.
But some people like the lack of extra curricular activities, so to each his own.

I am not saying 97.5 is better but if you think Palilo is the best then you have lost your mind. I guess if you are into the driest, most arrogant personality on Houston radio then he is your man. Not too mention he is the cheesiest form of pervert around. Palilo is intelligent but his show is so one dimensionally boring it is unreal.

I listen to John & Lance in the morning, the Colin Cowherd (97.5) if I'm late for work. If I leave work early, I listen to Pallilo.
At least there is good consensus that Lord sucks and 610 should just fold up shop.
BTW, 610 is "your home for the Texas Longhorns!"

Red RAiders media guy now being interviewed. Get the Texas TEch take now. Well he just said they have have to go along with what ever Texas wants to do. He said the majority of Tech Fans want to go to the PAC 10.
He says staying in the Big 12 is bad news for Tech Fans, it is not what they want.
He also says either Fox or ESPN has come in and over paid with a deal to Bebe of Big 12 to keep the Big 12 intact.

I typically listen to the station that talks college football (SEC preferred), pro-football, and some basketball.
Once they start talking astros I change the dial.

He's saying that too. Tech Fans know they have no voice in all this, it's all Texas run. Tech Fans are firmly behind leaving for the PAC 10. That tells me the PAC 10 could still offer them but it sounds like the money will be too good from the new Big 12 deal. And of course why would the PAC 10 want just TExas Tech.
