1) Stop with the "green and eco-friendly" parade. Approximately 54% of your business students graduate and work in the oil and gas industry. And I hate to tell y'all but the public trust (PUF) that subsidizes y'alls education is almost entirely composed of oil wells and oil money from west Texas. Oops.

2) The University of Texas is not in Los Angeles. Stop wearing hemp anklets and taking wheatgrass shots and lamenting the condition of post-industrial man. Oh and about those spray-on tans: ladies just stop.

3) Don't claim to be "cultured and progressive" and then use slurs about Aggies "raping sheep."
Y'all are "open-minded," right? How does "faggies" fit into all of that?

4) Speaking of fagg0ts, how many of your fraternities are being investigated or sanctioned for hazing during 2009-10? Uh..9.. out of 24. Hells yeah!

5) UT has Buck Burnette, William Simkins and we have our own racists. It's the unfortunate part of having 50,000 students: some of them do things that embarrass the rest of us. See "Fratboy."

6) Stop being so damn arrogant. We went to high school with you. Now we work with you. What happen in between? Do you really feel that proud of a winning football team? Just wait till you try to start up a conversation with some yuppie Cal Bear about Vince Young.. he will care! really he will! At least we argue.

6) Look I get it, UT is ranked the 49th best university in America and A&M is 61. Congratulations kiddos but you still aren't even close to Ivy League. Heck, you're significantly behind academic powerhouses like Case Western University, Tufts University, University of Rochester, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. I don't care about Plan II, business honors or whatever. Truth is, y'all are a decently ranked, middle-of-the-road public university and nothing more. Eerily similar to good old backwater Texas A&M. Maybe if that SAT was a bit higher you might have been accepted at Rice(ranked 17th), but your 1260 just didn't cut it.

Aggies are proud of Texas and its history. We accurately represent the cultural and political demographics of our great state.

We don't apologize for being Texan. We don't apologize for voting Republican. We don't apologize for raising our children with traditional values. We don't apologize for the veterans and servicemen that attend our school. We don't apologize for being middle-class. We don't apologize for our small-town roots. We don't apologize for the values that we share with the rest of Texas and the South.

God bless.

This is a true rivalry. Bleeding heart liberals and neoconservative men in uniform, a couple hours apart.

Gotta love it.

Getting out of the horn's shadow will be the best thing to happen to our athletic program since Fran got shite-canned and probably the best decision in the history of the University, athletic-wise. We should have been in the SEC when the SWC dissolved but it didn't happen, hopefully this next week the ship can finally be righted.

NIH, the "debt" in our atheltic department was blown WAY out of proportion. We had numerous expansion/improvement programs going on simultaneously, so the athletic dept took on a "loan" from the the University at 0% interest. Basically, free money to finish several much-needed renovations and new facilities (indoor track, indoor football facility, one of the best basketball facilities in the country) which is being repaid fully by the athletic department. A&M's athletic department's financial situation is the least of my concerns moving forward. The defense, however, is a whole other story!

NIH, the pigs can run all the shite-talk they want. We do have Walmart's here in Bryan/College Station too, but unlike Pig fans, we're not all employed by one. I guess one rich alum can do wonders for a University, even if its just the old dude handing out buggy's at the entrance.

The City of Austin and the teasips model themselves after Californy (God knows why). But we have had this discussion before....
quote:

Texas football as you knew it is gone, Billy Joe. It's broke, and your daddy can't fix it. Folks say that by 1994 the University of Texas could be in the Pac-10 or the Big Ten, and Texas A&M might be part of the Southeastern Conference. If that happens, it would almost certainly mean the end of the Southwest Conference. But even if the SWC still exists five years from now, you won't be able to recognize it. The Aggies and the Orangebloods get misty-eyed when they contemplate this sorry end to a storied alliance, but after decades of politicking and bickering, they have mainly themselves to blame.
