England instead of UK?

Why doesn't the United Kingdom play as a team instead of being four seperate teams, i.e. (England, Scottland, Whales, Northern Ireland? I mean the UK "is" a country... ...It just makes so much more sense, plus they'd obviously be so much better due to having more depth of talent on one team.

Because Wales, Scotland, and N. Ireland have no interest to combine with England when it comes to FIFA. It's that simple.
