Read the article of him mentioning Arkansas and South Carolina as "dogs" and how it was a bad move to get them. He must not have noticed that they are 2 of the top 20 most valuable programs in the country. Which teams can we realistically get that could follow suit in improving the value of the conference?

I thought it was generally accepted that Finebaum was one of the biggest douches on the college sports scene.

Finebaum thinks football is the only sport that matters...period. Yes, it would have been better if the SEC could have gotten FSU and Texas back in 1990, but they didn't want to come. It's not like the SEC is hurting for more teams. We're doing pretty well.

FORBES - 2009 Most Valuable College Football Teams
"Our ranking of College Football’s Most Valuable teams is based on what the football program contributes to four important beneficiaries (in order of weight): (1) their university (money generated by football that goes to the institution for academic purposes, including scholarship payments for football players); (2) athletic department (the net profit generated by the football program retained by the department); (3) conference (the distribution of bowl game revenue); (4) and local communities (estimated incremental spending by visitors to the county that's attributable to the program).
