why haven't we heard anything about TAMU from SEC sources?

Lots of smoke from TexAgs or Orangebloods but not a peep from "sources" around the SEC...
maybe I missed something....

Texas is a bunch of drama queens and the SEC keeps their business behind closed doors. I may be wrong but Slive and the SEC are not sitting by doing nothing. IHMO

Cabby, I agree with you but usually you would hear something at least "unofficial"...

I know what you mean, but they may just be sitting back and waiting to see what happens. If A&M and the SEC weren't talking and A&M didn't feel they had a chance to join the SEC then they would already been on board with UTw and move to the Pac 16. The real question is who joins with A&M? You can't have a conference with 13 teams.

I know negotiations can be done on the down low but you don't really hear anything from other schools being added to the SEC: not VT, not FSU, not GT, not Mizzou. There is usually always someone who spouts off something like, "we were contacted by the SEC regarding expansion". I would think you would hear something from either the school being contacted, the conference they belong to (maybe not the Big XII if it's Mizzou since they're in turmoil already), or one of the SEC schools. I don't think TAMU is coming to the SEC. Right now it's just posturing and letting the other schools going to the PAC-10 know how 'valuable' TAMU is to the process.
