Great News for Lake Charles Area Satellite Subscribers

We finally get to join the rest of the civilized world, and get our local channels in HD on our satellite systems.
As of yesterday, NBC in Lake Charles, ABC & CBS in Beaumont and Fox and PBS are now available to us in the lake area. Finally, after years of calling and bitching and moaning to Dish about not giving me any channels from Atlanta or New York like other people get because I don't fall within a magical spot beam, I can finally have local channels in HD on my DVR.
The drawback is, you have to have a different dish installed, which means, more than likely, I will have to sign a new contract because i recieved free new equipment...which is fine by me as long as they give me fricking CBS finally.
I called yesterday and made an appointment for Monday for the Dish network man to come and install this new dish.
Now I just have to continue bitching to the company to finally move the magical spot beam a little further to the West to allow CST channel 421 to go past Lafayette...some day my friends.

I have Dish. I live in here in L.C. but my "billing" address is in Baton Rouge. Voilla!! Local BR network stations including Cox.
I wonder why you need a new dish? Maybe yours was just outdated?
