Has anyone recieved a check from BP's claim system?

I am fixing to be out of a job due to the spill and was fixing to file a claim with BP. I was curious if anyone has filed one yet and if so, how long did it take to get your check if you have even gotten one yet?

Relative is a a charter fisherman. He got a check 2 days after he made his claim

i don't have anything to do with this. im 3 hours from the beach. but i hope you guys get every penny out of them. give em hell
