We almost got screwed again in a Bama game by officials

In the 11th, Gibbs was called out at 1st on a double play. This could have been the second time we screwed by an official. Thankfully, it didn't dictate the outcome. What did you guys think of the call?

At the game I couldn't tell. It must have been close because it's hard to get a DP on a bunt. Pretty bad momentum killer there but we ended up ok.

i think it is sports, and more specifically baseball. It happens and is part of the game. Anyone who thinks there is either intent involved in missing calls, or that LSU doesn't get their share needs to stop watching sports. Your goal as a team should be to not make it close enough for the officials to effect the outcome..period. If you left it that close, you can only blame yourself.

I was stunned that the 1st base umpire didn't call Mahtook out on the error in the 11th.
