That's why they were so nervous to draft Strasburg. It would've set the franchise back soooo much if they would've missed out on signing their top pick two years in a row. They inevitably deemed that Strasburg was worth the risk and so far he hasn't disappointed.

strasburg is a pretty standup dude from what i can tell.. i believe the first thing he did when he signed was donate a check to san diego state.
