Took my (now) 8 y/o son to see IM in the theatre (covered his eyes for the roll in the hay scene, but nothing else).
W/O spoilers, is IM2 the "same" as IM in terms of violence/profanity?
Thanks in advance.

i thought it was fairly clean... had some sexual innuendo's but nothing an 8 year old would catch.
i usually notice profanity in movies because many times i think about how pointless it was and how it would be a good movie without... but i don't remember thinking that in this movie.
there is one part where someone says something but they bleep it out because they are on national tv in the movie.

saw it last night...I think its fine to bring an 8 year old to. Just has the violence that you would expect from a superhero movie but no profanity

The violence it about par for a comic book movie.
I was thinking it reminded me a lot of the old A-Team when they would have a fight and shoot about 10,000 rounds of ammo and not a single person would get hurt.
Very similar in Iron Man 2 except in the scenes with Whiplash.

I agree. I feel the same, some good movies are ruined due to this.
