How close are we to getting this kid..could he be our next commit?..he mentioned in an article that we are in top 3 and wants to get the process over with during the summer..would be a huge get for this class

I believe he said recently we are his leader... wouldn't be surprised at all if we pulled him...

That would be huge...other offense recruits would be eager to jump on board

How do you think that'll effect LSU getting QB Justin Worley? (They're both from the Charlotte, NC area, incidentally.) Truth be told, I'd much rather have Worley than Williams. When we've won National Championships, our QBs (Rabb, Mauk, Flynn) have been in the same mold as Justin Worley: good athletes with passing skills, but, more importantly, SMART players. Williams might have more athletic ability, but Worley is the kind of kid that can take us all the way again.

Iv heard Worley likes Tennessee

Just giving you a hard time Confederate.
I will be perfectly happy with Williams and Oliver for QB. I like being able to recruit the east coast (much better than the west).

If Lee gets to campus and we get Williams, we should not take Oliver

That may be a significant reason we're holding off on offering Oliver. Good point in my opinion.

If Miami moves in...they'll get him before us. He wants Miami to offer I believe...
Other than that, he may be the top QB we've been waiting. Hes definitely all QB too...doubt he'll get moved like RS did.

I think that the coaches should put a full court press on him right now. I think that he is the final piece of the offensive puzzle of this class. I'm also assuming we get Greg Robinson too.

We will get Williams if miami doesn't offer.Every guy i talk to says that he's LSU bound if Miami doesn't call.I think he's the guy we want(I do) but i would hat for him to commit to us then Miami calls and we lose him. That would cost us with almost every big qb recruit this year. We'd have to offer Oliver then.I'd take oliver but only after expending all our energy on a better prospect 1st.

This x100...I think that Ranaldo Thomas is our next commit, followed by Greg Robinson, and hopefully Marquise during the summer

If the U is the make or break piece to this puzzle i feel like this will be a win for the tigers because we all know that Bridgewater is their main guy he is a local guy for them and it sounds like they would rather him. So that sounds really good for the tigers. Worley is a hard sell for me he is a high risk high reward guy. He is careless with the football according to ESPN he has thrown over 30 picks in 2 years but with 90+ TD's and a combined 63 completion % and 7,500+ yards. Compared to Williams 4,400 passing yards 2,400 rushing yards and a combined 77 TD's. They are both 6' 3" but Williams has a good 20 lbs on him. Williams has drawn comparisons to Vince Young and according to scout Williams has a better arm and their is no mentioning of mechanic issues with him where with Worley those are the two things that jumped out to their evaluators.

Im gunna go out on a limb here and say he reminds me of a lil shorter Jamarcus

Ok let's break down the QB situation:
JW Walsh and Jeff Driskel are committed elsewhere.
I'd be shocked if Braxton Miller doesn't go to Ohio State. I'd bet money Bridgewater doesn't get out of Miami. Kiehl Frazier is an Arkansas/Auburn battle.
That leaves, realistically, LeMay, Williams, Worley, and Uzomah.
Seems like Williams is leaning towards us. My question is, do we accept his commitment or do we hold out for LeMay? Do we consider them to be more or less equal, or do we consider LeMay to be better?

Williams would be nice, and hopefully Lemay will look at us too.

Not to beat a dead horse, but I don't remember Jamarcus bringing home any national championship rings. Justin Worley, a "pro-style" QB, is the exact guy we need! As a general rule, I don't trust anything said by evaluators looking at only a snapshot of a kid, but even assuming that he does have some "mechanical issues" he'll have at least two years with our quarterbacks coach to iron them out (i.e., doubtful he'll get thrown to the lions because we have to disrupt our entire program and sacrifice an entire season to expel a criminal ... even though a great "dual-threat" QB). Remember that coaches are supposed to "teach" as well as "recruit," right. Worley is going to make a major impact; I just hope he does it for the Fightin' Tigers.

I haven't read the article yet, but theres a thread on Rivals which makes it seem that Lemay is leaning towards Georgia right now big time.....Posters of all different schools saying that, not just UGA fans. Again, haven't read it yet though.

Of course you accept his commitment. Him and LeMay are very close talent-wise and have very similar play styles. With LeMay all but heading to Georgia, I think Williams is our only real option. As for the love for Worley, I don't know why. He can't move around to save his life, which won't get you far anymore

Get my Sylvie as well please.
And Lemay will likely go to Georgia now.
There's no way that we turn down Williams. I get the feeling that he's the top priority for us in terms of QB. That may be based on that he's our best shot but I certainly hear more about out efforts to recruit him than anyone else.
