Jersey scrimmage = 1st team offense v 1st team defense, 2nd team o v 2nd team d, etc.

Our Spring game is two teams where the players draft each other...I know a lot of schools do it differently.



And if you don't want to see a post about OSU then (tada!) don't fricking post in it and let it die.

The spring game's next week. The jersey scrimmage is first team O vs first team D, second O v second D, etc. Whichever unit, O or D, scores more (based on a modified point system that takes into account first downs, 3 and outs, etc) gets to wear the scarlet jerseys at fall practice. It was closed to the public (wondering how killernut watched it?) The spring game has a mix of first team guys on each team, so each starting lineup for the spring game has about .5 first teamers and .5 second. The jersey scrimmage is the thing the coaches take most seriously in the spring, and the spring game's more about "fun".

I'm not too concerned about the offense's performance, but it's not a good sign.
