I don't know the answer but I'll guess Josh Reed and Michael Clayton in 2001.

Reed - 1740 (94 catches)
Clayton - 754 (47 catches)

Damn our offense was good.

Davey had almost 3500 yards of passing of which half went to Reed and another major chunk to Clayton. LSUsports.net would have the exact stats.

Gerry Berry picked out a good one in Josh..

That Offense ranked #5 All-Time, behind only 2007, 2003, 2006 & 1908

How cute

Too bad Gerry Berry could get his shite together and have enough success to stay around and coach ole Joshua.

Maybe Gerry Berry would have won us a national title.

Josh Reed

May have been the best position change in LSU history.

Talk about overperform though. Guy was good but not as great as the numbers suggested. Hence going Round 2, whereas other LSU WRs (Bowe, Davis) with worse numbers have gone Round 1.

I think his size may have had a play in why he went round 2.
