My father in laws boss is good friends with nick saban and when all the miles to Michigan rumors were going around, nick called him to have dinner in Monroe with some of the board members at lsu. Supposedly there was a number and saban was good with it, and the following Tuesday miles held the "I'm staying at lsu" PC

Didn't Miles hold that press conference Saturday morning before the SECCG? Or are you talking about a different time?

fwiw, I think sabes definitely would have jumped at any chance to return to lsu. It's pretty much common knowledge he regretted leaving here the second he landed in Miami
