I just moved into a new house and one of the outdoor flower beds is full of mint. I don't use mint often, but I would like to take advantage of all of this fresh stuff
we have this same problem. house we moved into last summer has a flower bed full of mint. wife made a hot mint tea-like drink with it (steeping the mint in hot water, i think). I used it a few times in wet rubs for shrimp, chicken, etc. worked pretty well.
got to watch that stuff; spreads like crazy. stuff is all over my yard, mixed in with the grass. only upside is that i get a nice minty fresh jolt whenever cutting the lawn... ...very refreshing.
