to me nick saban gets too much credit for being a great recruiter while at LSU.. note i said while at LSU.. i recognize saban as the best recruiter now.. but a lot of saban's players at lsu were louisianan home grown.. and were coming to LSU regardless.. the amount of talent of high school athletes in the late 90s to early 00s in louisiana was exceptional.. and LSU doesn't exactly have any competition in state..

to me Miles doesn't get enough credit for recruiting.. especially what he has down outside the state..

lsu recruits itself.easy for a top 20 class.but i remember a time when it wasnt cool to be here.getting a kid out of new orleans wasnt going to happen.les is a great recruiter.les is almost on par with saban.he can out do him but he still has to do it.kinda like a train almost up the hill.i think i can,i think i can.i think this year he gets over the top.

You think Hill, Spears, and Clayton were always coming to LSU regardless?

webster was going to nebraska, dinardo wasn't even recruiting him, saban got him to change his mind.
clayton was headed to florida st.
spears was headed to miami.
