LSU does not recruit itself to have top 5 / 10 classes each year. Les' strong suit is recruiting and one of the best in country -- hiring good recruiters on his staff is part of his job as head of the program (that's for those of you who have never been in management). There are a number of schools that have equal to or superior brands to LSU that don't recruit as well -- Michigan, tOSU, the U, GA, TN........ Some of you underestimate the allure of many programs and need to, at least, give Les props in this area. USC, TX, and FL have the best built in success for recruiting.
