The Doors is a good movie, but he went way over the top in his portrayal of Jim. I watched an interview with Ray Manzarek when he was discussing his dislike for the movie.

I sometimes wonder why I dont like Platoon as much as everyone else. I didnt see it until around 1998 so I guess I dont appreciate how groundbreaking it evidently was. idk. Stone hasnt made a respectable movie imo since Any Given Sunday. And that was no masterpiece either.
