Tax shelters - rent house, farm land, small business?

What would be a more beneficial tax write-off; rent house, farm land, small business, other? My salary has significantly increased recently, and I'm being eaten up by the Taxman. My job requires 50-60 hours/week, so I really don't have time to "work another job". Any constructive input would be appreciated. Thanks.
