When they met in the finals HO was in his prime and Shaq was a rookie and they STILL had nearly identical numbers in the finals. Houston had a much much better team around HO.

Shaq was drafted in 1992, they played the Rockets in the NBA finals in 1995, nice try though

ETA: everyone says he was this unstoppable force with the Lakers, yet his 99-00 stats are about the same as his 93-94 stats.
Don't get me wrong, Shaq was a beast, 1 ofthe all time greats, but the hyperbole goes a little overboard.
