Am i the only person annoyed watching the NCAA tourney & seeing all of these good players from Louisiana on other teams? Why can't we keep our basketball players in state? This year is going to be the same thing! Markel Brown-OSU Brian Williams-OSU Langston Galloway-St Jo's. I'm sure there are more but these are a few. Is anyone else annoyed with this?

I guess watching the state championships this year and seeing all of the players who are going to other states to play ball kinda pissed me off! My bad, just wondering.

We have a good recruiting class coming in so next year isn't really a big deal.

Giving someone like voogd a scholarship and not Carter is just insane.

C'mon man, we got Eddie Ludwig. Can't get all the big fish in Louisiana.

Yeah we only have two guys coming in that have won the Gatorade Players of the Year for the last two years in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Nothing to see here. Just another inept casual fan that decided to watch a basketball game today and make blanket statements while lacking the basic information necessary to make a claim.

Too bad that didn't happen the last two years. Could have used some players this year.

this. you have limited roster spots in basketball. you can't and won't pull the top 20 in your state every year. you don't have room for them.

Yeah, because we have been a perennial tourney team for so long before the arrival of Trent Johnson. remember all those years of year-in and year-out success under Brady? Man, those were the days weren't they? Six scholarship players. Three transfers. An APR hovering around the bottom to the point where we were on the verge of actually losing scholarships when TJ arrived.

Man, keep telling me about those times Justsmokin. You seem so knowledgeable I just want to bask in your thoughts on this matter for a while and let them sink in because they're so appealing.

Unfortunately many in our fanbase will never realize that basketball recruiting does not equate to football recruiting.

Johnson's first two recruiting years were bad. A fact that can't be disputed.

Now, continue with your excuses.

umm did i not mention players? Trust me the 3 players that i mentioned you will see them on TV and you will remember this thread. 3 years ago was the same situation, Simmons, Washington, Dunn, Carter the kid from Thibidoux all played in the Top 28 and we missed all of them! This year there are a few kids who will be awesome players that we are missing out on. I watched Matt play he is good pure scorer, but Galloway, Brown & Williams are just as good if not all around better players. Another thing i clearly stated "LOUISIANA PLAYERS!" I believe our roster needs a makeover! Release some & make room for new players!

Trent Johnson has one recruiting class on campus. His second just signed and is highly ranked.

If you are counting giving Chris Bass an open scholarship in the summer after TJ was hired as a "recruiting class" then you are just looking for shite to bitch about.
