My first entry to this thread was in response to Dodd who posted Brady HC as the reason LSU didn't make the big dance.

I responded to your post stating that Stevenson would have started this year by noting that he probably would have, but he looked at the talent present in 2006 and signed elsewhere , though I am not certain LSU even offered. Both sides made the call based on talent on hand and not whether he could have started his senior season. Brady's only connection was that he was LSU coach in 2006, but that was not germane to the point I was making.
