or enemies whatever. now i am a huge depp fan and love gangster movies but i was really disappointed with this. am i the only one?

i liked it.. enough to buy the DVD anyways. i thought it was cool how they made you feel sympathetic towards dillinger's problems which is kinda ironic b/c hes a super criminal. at least thats how i felt

Nope. I posted the following on here before:

In the beginning of the movie the constant mumbling was really starting to piss me off. Couple that with the loud music and I had to rewind several times to catch dialogue.

Also the movie just seemed to drag. Sure the gunfights were cool but in between those I was checking my watch more than anything. Also the camcorder effect made it harder to identify who was who in certain action sequences. I really didn't know sometimes until after a few more scenes who actually got killed in the fight.

They also seemed to rapidly introduce way too many ancillary characters that in the end just seemed unnecessary. Made it a little harder to follow.

Just very underwhelmed at the end of that movie. If I had to try to sum up my thoughts in one phrase it would be that it just didn't flow well if that makes sense.

I really liked it, I do understand where the poster was saying how it dragged a bit. I was kind of expecting that which I guess I ended up overlooking that and really enjoying the movie
