When i found out that Boldin got traded, i figured it would be atleast a 1st rounder. i was flabergasted when it was only a 3rd and a 4th round picks. Same with Kerry Rhodes. He is a solid safety. didnt he go to the probowl? cardinals only gave up a 4th this year for him!!!Both ravens and Cardinals got outstanding value from their mid to low picks. hopefully we can make a trade like this.

It is understandable that Boldin wouldn't require high draft picks because he carried such a high price already, that the Cardinals had to get something, and they have a lot of young talent waiting in the wings. It was a good deal for both sides.

Rhodes publicly aired his feelings towards his playing time and the way he was being used last year. From what I saw, Rhodes was great, but obviously there is something about his game that Rex Ryan didn't care for. He fits the Pittsburgh scheme perfectly, which Whisenhunt just copied, because of his size and ability to get to the QB. I think he is going to be a stud in ARI, and he'll have the freedom to make plays with Adrian Wilson by his side.

As far as the other guys, for the Saints to make a move, I don't think you can depend on someone that you would have to convert. Edwards would be playing his natural position and he would be cheaper than a guy like Osi because he is so young and hasn't produced the numbers Osi has. Ray would be a much better value.

Wimbley and Starks both produced in their 3-4 schemes and probably will make more money in that scheme.

I honestly don't know enough about Hali to tell you whether he would be a good fit with our defense. Although I have never heard that he is known for being strong in run support and that is just as important as a 4-3 LE, especially when Gregg Williams switches to a 3-4 front periodically, which is why Hargrove saw so much time(he was our most versatile Dlineman).

all good points. i was just throwing names out there. i forgot that Miami played 3-4, but if we switch to the 3-4 periodically i would think he would be a good fit. I just hope we make atleast one good move, but if we dont its no big deal. we have drafted well since payton got here.
