New to the series. Is there a save/load game option or am I just not seeing it? Looks like you can only save settings?

I haven't played Left 4 Dead 2, but the first one, Left 4 Dead, there's no need for a save. This game is just kill zombies, get to the safe house and help your team mates. I imagine L4D2 is pretty much the same.

It's much better online with friends. Single player gets old pretty fast.

Oh I thought it was like 5 levels that you had to beat in order to get in an ending like a gears of war/mw2 campaign. I guess if you wanna beat a level you have to play all 4-5 chapters in one sitting?

Yeah I can see how single player can get boring quick.

If anyone still plays this...you can add me

Yeah, it's hardcore, and levels last about 1-1.5 hours. Great game, though.

Yes, correct. It's not a story or mission based game at all, just fun killing zombies with your friends.

And single player is good, it just gets old pretty quickly.

L4D is a great game. Valve makes really good games. If you've never played Half Life 2 and Portal, you might want to check out Orange Box.

You don't have to save b/c you can pick any campaign and any chapter in that campaign when you start. Just check the mission options.

Gotta play through each story in one sitting.
