Bump for Update:

OldIowaTiger selected Chris Martin, DE in the Enfugo round. Looks like he's transfering to Florida.

LINK

OldIowa is going to need a flow chart to remember where all his players were and are.

I remember wanting to draft Martin and him going a pick or two before me and having to scramble for someone else. That's what made me think about it.

No Kidding.

But yeah, I talked to him, Everything is going to be fine. We're straight with his decision to go to Florida because the rest of the line will make him better. May get some looks at LB too.

I'm also comfortable with Henderson at Miami. Think he could get much quicker and more reliable playing time down there as long as he stays out of trouble. I know what it's like to be a midwestern kid moving to a big city in the Dirty South.

Elliot Porter was my homer LSU pick. Shite! Hope he ends up somewhere where he can play.

It's probably better for him. (and by extension you.) I never thought he would play any meaningful downs for LSU. Maybe now he will go to FIU or USF and be all confrence or something.

Best of Luck to E. Porter!

that sucks, but i guess it was a bad pick on my part, should have called his coaches and friends and found out he wasn't going to be able to hang

Giovanni Bernard just went out with an ACL tear. His freshman season is gone. So I hope I didnt pick him.

I dont know if he will bounce back from that type of injury.

You saw what happened to Alley cat and JV. They are never the same to me.

Hand drafted him in the 8th round.

Isn't that what happened to Amp Hill as well who everyone said was the best WR of that class which included D. Bowe and Buster Davis?

We have some many so call Recruniks and talent scouts. that it will be amusinig to watch this game unfold. I mean. You cant help if akid gets hurt. but I am reading these post and following everythingt closely to see how kids perform.

Now we can see how Les and co feels when they go on the trail and bring in a kid who they thought would be a stud but washes out.

Well,... crap. He was going to play this year. Here's to bouncing back, Gio

This experiment was good times. Lots of insight into recruiting and the decision making process and how some things are out of the team's control.

Here's some more guys that I liked and would have drafted had we kept going:

Running Back
1. Orleans Darkwa
2. Kevin Parks
3. Kamal Hogan

Wide Receiver
1. Austin Hill
2. SaQwan Edwards

Offensive Line
1. Brandon Sacco

Tight End
1. Tank Sessions

Defensive Back
1. Chad Hagan
2. Tevin Mcdonald

Linebacker
1. Zachary Orr
2. Dwayne Mitchell

Defensive Line
1. Aaron Donald

May actually work out for better playing time.

OldIowa, that's has to be a third of your team that has quit or transfered so far this year?!?!

Easy Hand! KP Parks is on my team man. He has already been arrested, but still on the team and supposedly looking good so far at practice.
