Is 2010-11 b-ball team as good as 1965 team with Coach McCreary?

Jordy keeps getting on the radio and saying this is the worst LSU's ever been talent-wise in his lifetime.

I think while you can make that argument, I think it's more of a case that he's trying to stifle any inkling of criticism on Trent about this year.

I do think Dale's last team and Brady's first could rival this team in talent deficiency. Basically those two teams had only one player that could play on another SEC team, that being Maurice Carter, and frankly he probably would have started on only maybe half of them at best.

Sure Lester Earl and Dejuan Collins had some talent, but neither made it past the fall sememster on their respective teams though those teams were left with the Llanders Nolleys, Chico Potts, 6-6 Center Cedric Carter, Louis Earl, Tiger Womack the little walk on point guard whose name escapes me and some other really talent deficient players that rivals what we have now.

Checking the Media Guide, the 65-66 team was coached by Frank Truitt, went 6-20 overall and 2-14 in the SEC. The 66-67 team, Press Maravich's first season, went 3-23 and 1-17.

If a horrible penn team can beat a very good cornell team, why can'y a horrible LSU beat ANY SEC team
