I just watched the pilot on Hulu tonight for the first time. I spit my tea out when the big gay guy brought the baby out to the Lion King Music. The father is freaking hilarious. Very funny show. I'll be watching.

It's funny to think of how well Arrested Development would have done in the post-Office world of american comedy. It would have been huge IMO.
I know the shows aren't exactly the same(AD being more ridiculous and slapstick while MF has a lot more heart), but they both just leave me feeling the same way. The feeling that they're that much smarter than anything else going on.

This show could really get very funny. It's already very good in the first season. The writing is sharp and Manny is hilarious. Manny,Phil,and Cameron are my faves. Gloria is gaining fast. She's really beautiful and very funny: a very difficult combo to find.
