(Long. Sorry) Here is the problem with all of these posts up here that attempt to defend what the aggie fans said about wishing injury on Fobbs for making a tough decision in his life...you compared what he did with what Janzen jackson did. That was wrong. Not only are you incapable of defending these aggie comments, you are incapable of defending them with a proper analogy.

Totally different kids and different situation. Must I refresh your fading memories?

JJ told LSU coaches as late as signing day he was coming to LSU and not to worry (merely wanted to wait for his Mom to come to come to town). He lied. Fobbs told aggie coaches ALL ALONG (see I can use all caps too) that he was a soft commitment. This kid was honest all the way through about being torn over his decision. JJ NEVER expressed he was a soft commitment. He and his father lied to LSU coaches. Then they both involved themselves (as a parent and alleged adult he should have known better) in kiffens plan to hide his true intentions from LSU and from the Myers kid in Atlanta who they also lied to. JJ waited until after signing day and kept LSU from using one of its scholarships.

There was a kid from north Louisiana who wanted to come to LSU but we told him we did not have enough scholarships. He got screwed out of coming to LSU because of JJ and his Dad and kiffen. Kiffen promised the Myers kid (may be wrong on his exact name, but he was that safety who was considering LSU) they were not signing any other safeties and not signing Jackson. So, he signed with JJ and with JJ waiting until the next day to do his deed, Myers had no way of backing out. He got screwed by JJ and his dad and kIffen.

JJ lied to his entire school, to LSU, our coaches, and his lies adversely affecting not only them, but the kid in ATlanta and the kid in North La. To use his antics and what people said about it afterwards as an example of what these aggies said about Fobbs, who never lied to anyone, is assanine...and is in a way a slap at the Fobbs family. I think each of you who compared the situations owe them an apology.
