PS1 games on PS3.

anyone purchase PS1 games on the PS3?
Girlfriend was in this weekend, so I didn't allow myself to play MW2. So i purchased a few PS1 games that i used to play in my heyday.
Twisted Metal 2 - still awesome. they need to come out with a new one.
Nuclear Strike - still confuses me, but i like it.
Sim City 2000 - i was craving some Sim City. terrible choice on the Playstation. Should have known better.

well i see the point of the thread is going no where.
in short, my girlfriend is in Med school, and she comes in every weekend to get away from Shreveport.
However she gets tired of guns firing, bombs going off, and me cursing. so asked that i try not to play MW2.
i attempted to not play ps3 at all, but got bored and decided to browse the down loadable games.

I still have the final fantasies and a bunch of other psone games. I've only bought the ones I've lost or just rented and never purchased.

Most of the games you and I have mentioned in this thread are superior to mw2, anyway. Sim city and nuclear strike don't quite make the cut.

Jungle Strike was pretty legit also.
The strike games were more cult classics for myself. Didn't have many friends playing them.

Tekken 3, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Gran Turismo, Omega boost, Bloody Roar, X-files all over the world! C'mon Ridge Racer, Odd World, Winning Eleven, THE GAME ON THE PLAYSTATION!!! That could be my favorite song of all time!

I'll have to check for Legend of Dragoon when I get home. That is one of my favorite RPGs.

Yeah, I was really suprised that it was a Sony dev team that made it. Great story and the addition system was epic for its time.
