Max has Armand Williams as a top five wide reciever in the country. He says that Armand was a case of heavy running offense that left him unnoticed!!!! If the numbers that Emfinger posts are correct, this kid is a damn good pick up!!!!!

In his rating system, this guy is a 6 star. Ranked higher than Hunter, Carter, and Ambles. Crazy how recruiting turns.

I think almost every kid we recruited moved up after their all star game performances. I don't doubt our abilities to find good recruits. I'm sure if we signed him, he is a good find.

Fobbs is a damn good athlete....he's just not the only one out there!!! I live in Slidell and have seen Armand play and the 4.5 is legit the size is legit! He is a high character guy and is a future candidate of the #18 jersey!!!! The kid will make us proud..He's a worker

I live on the Northshore and I've seen him and Bates play ONCE. I think hes a really good athlete...I didn't know if LSU would ever offer him though, which is obvious now...

Honestly, I didn't think he'd get a offer. I seen his vertical on the field. His 40 time has to be hand timed or he just doesn't have really good acceleration. He didn't seem all that fast to me. Maybe hes one of those guys that just take awhile to build speed up...some guys just build top end speed up as they stride down the field...

If Slidell had a better system, I think he might explode on the scene. I definitely believe those vertical stats though. He looks bigger than his listed weight too...

Hes definitely a better prospect than Bates on the Northshore, IMO.

That would be Joe......One day I'll tell you a story about when Max was in Tx.

I was at a recruiting talk one night, Max was the lead speaker. He does know his stuff.

You gonna be at the Recruiting Bash, I have some of the first books Max put out on recruiting.

Well I would agree on that... I watch his highlights he looks like a physical reciever. Watch him be the sleeper pick up we were looking for.

As for speed... sh$t I don't care.. just catch the damn ball.

This class for LSU will be ok.. I wish people would stop freakin out about this... LSU is due for a turnaround.. mark my words.

Sometimes a little too much is spent on this one thing. Not many run a true 4.4/40.

We had two down years in recruiting, and we had two down years on the field. We are about to have an incredible three year stretch in recruiting 2009, 2010, 2011. We're gonna be fine
