Best basketball wins from 2000-2010

I'll give mine:
1. Duke 2006 (Sweet 16) "Garrett shuts down JJ"
2. Texas 2006 (Elite 8) "Big Baby's 3 in OT the dagger"
3. Arizona 2000 (January, PMAC) "Stromile and Jabari destroy #1 Cats"
4. Texas A&M 2006 (NCAA 2nd rd) "D Mitch's dagger"
5. Arizona 2002 (December, PMAC) "Welcome Jaime Lloreda and once again, down goes a top Cats team"
6. Auburn 2000 (March, Auburn, AL) "One point win on the road wraps up west and SEC"
7. Florida 2007 (February, PMAC) "Nothing to lose, but to knock off defending champs on CBS"
8. Texas 2000 (NCAA 2nd round) "Stromile> Mimms"
9. West Virginia 2005 (December, Morgantown, WV) "LSU shows Big East they're for real"
10. Alabama 2005 (February, PMAC) "Neltner tip-in puts Tigers in SEC race"
I could add several more such as the 2000 home game with Auburn when the PMAC was once again packed and Chris porter fouled out of the game with 18 minutes to play. There was the SE MO State game where Bashera had to bail us out of what could have been a very disheartening end to a fantastic season. That same year, how about the back to back road games where we annihilated Ole Miss and Bama by a total of 75 points combined? I hate to leave off any game from last year such as the Butler squab, but pundits were somewhat right when they said we had few quality wins...but that Miss State game that went 2 OTs and Taz scoring 40 could easily go in a top 10.
Just a look back at what's, overall, been a pleasing decade of basketball with 7 NCAA tourney wins compared to just 2 in the 90's. My God...am I unknowingly making a case for John Brady?

Miss. St. game in Starkville from last year(Too bad nobody saw it)
Kentucky game from last year - First win in Rupp in 20 years
Arkansas game at UA from 2000- LSU had beaten UA by like 40 in the PMAC and Nolan was pissed at Brady and wanted revenge, we still went to Bud Walton won something we don't do there often

Good picks. I mentioned the state game and yep, no one got to see it until days later over the net.
UK game was a dandy, too. I also recall watching us 20 years before come from behind and beat them on ESPN. Dennis Tracy, as I recall, was a huge spark plug off the bench and made some key defensive plays for CJ. I also remember Richie Farmer ( I think that was his name) had the ultimate Tom Sellek mustache.
Also, 2 years prior, we handed UK their orst home loss in school history at RUPP by damn near 40. Parker Griffith even scored in that game.
The biggest beatdown i recall us putting on ARky was the '03 SEC Tourney in New Orleans. One of the eastern teams (SC maybe?) got dq'd and couldn't play in the SECt so we played Arkansas instead and just skulldrug them through the mud. I think we won by about 38 or so. It was a joyous thing to see. I was always anti-Blake Eddens and it was great watching "Hud" shoot all over him.
I cannot ait for the Sec Tournament to come back to NOLA. When will that be?

I'll have to say the Duke game. I mean even my maw maw watched that one.

LSU gave the whole country a treat by beating Duke. It was wonderful. It was like watching the US Soldier's topple Saddam's statue in Baghdad...well I guess it was the Iraqi civilians but you know what I mean.

I was at that Arizona game when I was but a wee little lad haha. That was absolutely one of the coolest games I've ever attended.

i like that you included the west virginia win, even though we shat the bad against ohio state in the final 5 minutes of that game and then lost the heartbreaker to uconn, that win was HUGE for that team, coming off a sloppy loss to houston.
