the point is the last 5 games which means more to the team right now than early season were played average at best and only one of those teams made the playoffs

In the 4 games before the postseason, the Cardinals were 2-2 including blowout losses to the 49ers and the Packers. Their wins were by 7 against Detroit and a blowout against the Rams; don't tell me that's impressive.

This is the playoffs, it's not about previous weeks. It's about execution. With the additional players coming back from injury (none of whom were present during the final 5 games when we struggled) as well as the additional preparation time, it's hard not to be confident as a Saints fan. In no way shape or form is that to be misconstrued as cockiness. Any team can beat any team at this point but I have confidence the Saints will win.

First of all, Arizona has only played 2 teams all year that made the playoffs this year. They beat Minnesota and lost to Green bay. So your argument fails right there. In addition, as good as Arizona's offense looked yesterday, they easily could have lost last night. So your argument that the Saints should have lost to Washington or Atlanta fails as well.
