Cassius will end you for implying that he has equal swagga to Bubba.

I'm not insulting him. I'm complimenting.

CM probably has a script Cadillac tat running up his ribcage.

He has 3 sacks , and 2 hurries today. That dude is dominating the practice sessions.

Makes me glad. I was unsure about how quality he was without a USC offer... but he's definitely out to proven how legit he is. He's manhandling people in practice.

He needs to calm down before USC decides to offfer him

Yeah, he's got family in the area.
There's been some rumblings that some in his camp may be pushing for him to stay closer to home and I'm sure that it will come down to the wire.
We need him in a bad way though. Another difference making DT would be awesome.

how do you like him compared to Blackmon? how about compared to other DTs we're going after, if we're going after any?

I have no idea how to judge Blackmon. The only positive I can gleam from him is that he runs really well for a guy that big. But he plays such horrible competition you can't tell anything about his technique or otherwise. He looks extremely raw and athletic though.
Marsh was a guy I wasn't too thrilled about when we got. What I had read about him was that he was basically a high effort player and the little bit of film I watched confirmed that. Not that that's a negative, but usually when people say that it =s lack of athleticism.
However, he's now at the AA game and absolutely physically dominating people. The most impressive aspect of his game is that he's explosive off the line. He's got a great frame at 6'3 275 (listed, so I'd imagine 6'2ish). He also plays extremely hard and seems to have a mean streak/attitude (hence the swagga joke). If he continues to develop he looks like he could be a difference maker at DT and that was not something I was expecting.

quote:sounds like he's got something to prove... we need that stopper that we've always had in the middle. Definitely missing the last couple of years. Im sure with this type of progress, he's going to be recruited hard by others. Hope he stays true.

USC is the big one to worry about IMO.
Other than pressure to stay home which could land him at UCLA (he already decomitted from Cal), if USC comes calling, he may jump on it. As of now he doesn't have an offer.
As of now they have 2 DTs committed and I have no idea how many spots they have or if they are even interested in taking more.
