Why did Ken Ramsey website disappear? LINK

Is there any other site that gives you Louisiana High School basketball past game results broken down by classification and districts?

Thanks for trying however this is what the site says:

High School - Football | Baseball | Power Ratings | Brackets

No basketball except for a forum is all I can see. Looking for a site that gives results from previous games.

Thanks. Not as good as Ramsey's site, but at least I can get teams records and scores.

Any idea why the site that took over kenramsey.com doesn't keep up his good work?

Does make you wonder why these guys purchased the site if they weren't going to keep it up to date. Sort of reminds me of the old stcok market tech days when investors paid enormous amounts of money with no way of earning profits.

Ken was a UPS driver by day when he started it.

It was only 5A football, then he started expanding it and it got very big in a short period of time. This was about the same time geaux.com fell apart and a wave of users were looking for a new board.

He started clogging up the site with all kinds of horrible banner ads. The site was already simplistic garbage before but his banner ads made it that much worse to look at. Not to mention it was not very user friendly at all. Ken got involved in a sporting goods side business and he spent more and more time selling his batting cage nets and crap and less time on the site.

Then the old ken ramsey site got attacked one night with porn, ken took it down and when he brought it back up he required everyone send him IN THE MAIL a $25 one time activation fee. Well that went over like a stale fart in an elevator. I would have paid the $25 fee if he had pay pal but he wanted checks in the mail and I wasn't going to do that. He said the one time $25 fee was to help him defray the operating costs of the site but I always figured it was to defray his wife bitching at him for spending so much time on it.

Since there were so few people willing to pay the $25 through the mail the site became dominated by a handful of posters. I lost interest in it and forgot about it.

I was doing some pre-game prep for a game we were going to broadcast and I went to the old ken ramsey site and found the redirect to the new site. Well the new site is hot garbage and worthless.

I wish we had a HS sports board here but between the MSB and recruiting we have that topic pretty well covered.

Never posted much to the site, but did frequent the site often to see how teams did in the early basketball tournaments and of course during football and basketball playoff times. The LHSAA site does have scores to help you gauge teams bb records, but I don't think it summerizes their win loss records or group them by districts like Ken's did. Oh well, no problem I can do that myself.

Overall how do you see Louisiana HS basketball this season? Is it up or down?

5A wide open - Westgate is probably the favorite right now

4A is all Peabody and Glen Oaks

3A wide open

2A is the most competitive class in the state - Many and Riverside are probably the favorites

1A is all Christian Life and Metairie Park-Country Day

Class B is wide open for the first time in a long time - watch out for Centerville and Midland

Class C - wide open
