I haven't seen anything but, I can tell you if I was a Penn State fan even if we won by 20 over LSU I would be upset about the condition of the field. It totally took away from the talent of both of the teams and for what? So three high school teams could play a game. What the frick did this field look like before they laid down the new one? Haven't they ever heard of agronomy? Ridiculous.

The Cap One Bowl should refund everyone who paid good money to see us play in that CRAP. And I would say the same thing if we had won, although I'm sure that makes it more tolerable for PSU.

Even after the game the PSU fans felt just as we did about the field. Several told me they were happy with the win but couldn't be proud of it.

The ones sitting next to me complained about the field. Yet we both agreed both teams had to play on it and in the end the better team won. Simple as that.

In lieu of this, I think Miles should call JoePa and invite him down to BR for a game on a real field. We can return the trip to State College, would be a great series.

PSU fans probably realized both teams played on the field and that for as long as footbal has been around, teams have played in slosh from time to time.

There's a difference between playin' in the rain and playin' on a cattle field blown up with hand grenades.

It was not raining and not a cattle field with greandes. It was slop and loose sod. Both teams played in it. Teams have played in such mess many times before. SOme LSU fans need to stop with the pu**ification of football.

True, but it hurts the team who relies on it's speed the most.

I have seen bad fields in my day but never as bad as that or even close to that.... Please tangerine, find me one picture of a field that was worse then that one... Go ahead, I'll wait.

Why don't you see if they want to forfeit the win and give back the trophy?

It does not matter if I post a mudslide. Some LSU fans will go to their grave believeing it was the worst possible playing conditions in the history of mankind and that the refs were biased in their calling.

Please tell me why the HELL I was wearing my raincoat then? I am just that stupid? It stopped raining right around 1/2 time, but it rained freaking buckets before the game started in that sloppy cow pasture! It was a pathetic field on which we lost because we could not run, pass or catch (nothing to do with the field).

However, we were hindered by the field and RAIN!

I understand. LSU could not have lost because they were beaten in every facet of the game by a better team. It was the playing conditions that did LSU in.

I agree. I think the argument has been made loud and clear. PSU did not win because they were the better team or even outplayed LSU. It was the field who beat LSU. PSU should oblige and agree with the pu**ification of football argument.

Yah, hard to be too pissed about the field when LSU played the same as they did all year. On a dry field, LSU mightve won a clos ugly game, but we'd still be bitching about Crowton and how bad we look. And even on a dry field, PSU was probably the better team since its OL bothers to run block.
