You people are talking too much shite. I barely sold my extra 4 together for the face value plus TAF fees last year. The "demand" isn't as high as the posters on this board lead us to believe. People like the idea of having season tickets. Writing checks for the tickets is another animal. People get a little gun shy when you ask them for a few G's.
Exactly. My parents have had season tickets for quite a few years. Think they got them in '01. They sit so hgh up in the upper sction they have to bring binoculars to watch the games. I'm worried a bird or something might knock them out one day. I sold mine years ago, couldn't afford it it anymore. Of course now I can but not going to costs way to much, like my new boat and car better. Anyway point is they are available to get and yes they are expensive as hell. My parents would love to have better seats but don't want to pay $1000's more a year to do so. And it does have a little to do with who is coaching as well. They are getting a little older but also wiser.

Agree in that the demand is no where near what some would like to expect. And remember surcharges will jump for the third straight year.

No but they could be mischievous and sly. It is their money and concern!

It doesn't matter if the game is a sellout or not, if asses aren't in the seat LSU misses out on the biggest moneymaker of them all: concessions/merchandise. Didn't take a ticket revolt to get dinardo canned, but less behinds in the seat sure did. Anyone remember how sparse the crowd was for the tulane game? That may seem like a stadium record ccompared to the McNeese game this year if things are going badly.
