Today was a no win situation for the Saints. While it was miserable to watch Brunnell short arm throw after throw- at least we will have #9 under center in 2 weeks.
NE lost Wes Welker today to a likely ACL and MCL tear. We all could be feeling much worse...

You are exactly right. The alternative to a loss could have been an injury to a key player. It's over...let's get ready for the playoffs.

Or Brees could of put up 400+ yards and the defense could of held them to less than 100 yrds rushing and noone gets hurt. The saints could of been right back on track heading into the playoffs. I guess that could of been another alternative.
