No actually it's not considered out dated.
says all NFL teams have their own times. Also in that article it says hundreds of NFL team personnel is there with stopwatches.
So every team is getting their own times from multiple watches. And like I said, SOME teams ignore the combines official time completely and use their own

this is true but alot still dont take their own times.
