What are you going to talk about this time next year when Nicky Boy is not in the top ten?
There is no team even when the Bear was around played for the NC every year like some Bama fan will try to talk themselves into believing. LSU is not perfect like some of you all would like to see every year, it goes in cycles every two years or so. LSU had a great run over the last decade and that in itself is remarkable considering LSU's history. All you have to do is go back and look what happened over the years it was 50 years before LSU won their second NC and then 3 years later they get another which was luck considering the two losses, but thewy had the best team that year so the best team won. Everyone needs luck to win an NC I do not care who it is. that is why you do not see repeat winners, they are rare. You will not see what Fla. St. and Bobby Bowden did ever again with ten years of being in the top 5 every year not with the parity that is in College football today. So considering all the parity LSU is doing great considering our history and hopefully we will do better next year. Only one can win each year and that leaves 118 teams saying wait till next year! To finish in the top ten of 119 teams is not a bad record if we did that for ten years in a row. You will be one the first to say we where the first team to go ten years in a row if LSU does it, so quit your belly aching everything will be alright.

What's the point of that if you can't win an SEC championship? Can't yall just accept that for some people (Miles included, by his words), the point is to win SEC championships?

What?

Things are fine as they are right now, b/c I've lowered my expectations after watching ugly football every week. 5 seasons of that is enough for me.

Do this: go back over the last 5 years and pick out the games that you felt like LSU played up to potential and really put an opponent away. Leave out the North Texas and ULL's of the world. Bowl games, VT, ... what else you got?

Are you insane? Alabama will likely be one of the favorites to win the NC next year. They will be in the top ten wire to wire next year, just like they were this year.

But it doesn't take luck to at least go over .500 in the SEC over a two-year period, and it sure as hell doesn't take luck to keep from losing games because of stupid-arse clock management blunders. It just takes competent coaching, which is what we lack.
