I live in Mobile and was shopping at Kohls yesterday and I wore my LSU sweatshirt. I got a few dirty looks but nobody has the nerve to say anything. I even had 3 lsu fans come up to me and ask me where i got my sweater(it was limited edition remake from 58 championship). anyway i was shopping with my sister and i guess coonasses talk loud because people always stare at us but say nothing. wow bama fans take that stick out your arse and get some personality.

They probably figured they'd let the scoreboard do the talking

Most of their fans have never been there and it shows. Their since of entitlement is second to no other fan base which I guess is why they are called delusional. They have tried buying success by cheating and now they are buying it by paying $abun. It is what it is. IMO

I live in Daphne and there were people shooting off fireworks after the game! I laughed. The Bammers are in full force right now but I remember up until 2 years ago you didn't hardly see any car flags or stickers.

When I was in D.C. on vacation, I wore an LSU hoodie one day and got some good natured "Gator Bait" and "Hotty Toddy" - all in good fun. Of course, with a "Tiger Bait/Geaux Tigers" in return. The Georgia and Bama fans had absolutely nothing to say, nor did they even much smile and walked like they had a barbed wire 2X4 shoved up their arse when they saw my LSU colors on. I've always thought of Bama fans to be that way.

Tiger babe

I moved from Baton Rouge to Mobile in 1990. I know lots of Alabama fans who are as passionate year round and knowledgable about their school and its history as LSU fans are. Those I get along great with because of mutual respect.

I think what separates LSU fans from the rest of the Alabama fans not in that group is the passion Tiger fans have for LSU win or lose. I never want LSU to lose - but I have seen just as much emotion - if not more - on the Tiger Rant after an LSU loss than I did after LSU won the BCS in 2007. Win or lose LSU is who we are.

But there are a lot of band wagon Alabama fans who don't put on an Alabama shirt unless they are winning. If Bama is winning as they are now then everyone here can "Roll Tide" with the best of them. If they start losing the Go Bama shirts go back into the closet until the next Iron Bowl. These fans couldn't name more than 4 players on their team.
