Let's just say this: Money talks, and the Big 12 was listening. Mack Brown lobbied, Miles did not (against Ole Miss).

Let's say Nebraska was down by 2 and had the exact play call last night: Would the second be reinstated?

I bet NOT. The SEC might have screwed us over this season, but the SEC is not the only conference that rigs the games.

You know where Brent Musberger stands on the playoff vs bowl debate. He was more excited about seeing a stir up in the BCS picture rather than Texas winning to get to the game or Nebraska upsetting Texas to win the Big XII and get to the Fiesta Bowl.

Oh, and Texas will get their arse kicked by Bama by the way. Bama has an offense whereas Nebraska doesn't.

You do understand that by throwing the ball away the clock was stopped and that in LSUs case the clock started once the refs set the ball and blew the whistle right? Completely different scenarios. The second should have been put back on the board for Texas. Not for LSU.

we were in nearly the same position vs Auburn in 2007. Had Byrd dropped the ball, and the clock operator hiccuped Miles would have had to argue to put a second or two back on the clock.
