2010 Defense will be young but loaded....

We are losing key players, specifically at LB. But we have 6 FR at DE. Montgomery is a beast, and aghayere, livingston, brockers, clement will be very strong. DLine is thin, but Hicks and Downs are extremely talented while Nevis and Davenport can provide support. If Chad Jones returns, I see Loston stepping up to team with Peterson to make an incredible secondary. Young LBs must step up. Sheppard is legit, but Minter, Baker, maybe Prater gotta step up

Mike Detillier seemed to think that Baker will be phenomenal at LB next year, I'm pumped up about that. Also thought Loston at LB would be an improvement over Coleman (who he thought has played well). If some young d-linemen step up, this defense could be very good.

Defense should be a bright spot next year. Most guys will have been used to the system and we won't give up 400+ yards the first 2 games.

FYI.......Loston aint playing LB... "if they move me to LB..Im outta here"!!! plus do you take the #1 safety prospect to come out in years and move him to LB...NO

That LB position is basically a nickel back. It sounds like he would be there and then take Jones spot when he's gone. If Jones is playing baseball next year in the minor league, Loston would probably be a starting safety.

I really wish Chad Jones played SS, because thats what he reminds of as far as NFL talent. Then Loston could start at FS because he has the prototypical syze for that. And I didn't get it backwards, Hicks and Downs I believe will be stronger at DT that Nevis.

I dont doubt that one bit, but he has to be here 1st. I think you can expect a ton for Brockers (RS) at DT
