Yes, because Saban is good for a WTF loss like this every couple years.

8 loss miles over a 2 loss saban? Im glad your not our AD.

There is never a reason that LSU/ Bama should lose to a UAB/ ULM type team. Miles doesn't lose those games.

The talent on those teams that lost to UAB and ULM is much worse than Miles teams at LSU that have come very close to losing to LaTech and Troy.

Saban was great for LSU, but he is gone. Time to move on. Just like when ever Miles is gone, it will be time to move on from him as well.

Agree, but ppl are just comparing him to a top coach in the SEC.

It might not be a decline, it might just be a blip on the radar after next year. But one more year of 3+ losses, its officially decline time. That said, I still think Miles needs to go after this season, decline or not, the man has shown himself incapable of doing what is needed to win when it matters.

you do recall that Saban needed a late 4th qtr td to defeat Troy in his fifth year at LSU,right ?

Saban may indeed be a better coach than Miles but to deflect or hold Saban harmless from any losses or make excuses for anything that went wrong in his tenure at LSU is silly.
