You are kidding, right? Fans want winners. He is not a winner. He lacks the primary skills necessary to QB a major college team. As BBA said, there are a number of white QB's who have been skewered in the past. Drop the ridiculous racism angle.

some, not many. This excuse is old. Lee is less revered than JJ, he is white. JJ just happens to lead one of the worst BCS offenses in the country, and repeatedly makes the same mistakes. He is good for two drives a game. He is accepted, just not exalted.

Until the LSU fanbase erects a statue of JJ, some here will continue to race bait and claim he is hated. JJ has a solid start, he can solidify his legacy here at LSU with a good year next year.

Jamie Howard took more abuse than any QB EVER.
