Friday night, December, 7 pm, at The University of Louisiana at Lafayette's Cajun Field.
1st Round:
#21 Westgate beat #12 Mandeville - 21-14
#1 Rummel beat #32 Captain Shreve - 10-3
2nd Round:
#21 Westgate beat #5 South Lafourche - 26-2
#1 Rummel beat #16 Jesuit - 14-7
3rd Round:
#21 Westgate beat #4 Central B.R. - 30-27
#1 Rummel beat #8 Hahnville - 24-7
Good luck to both teams. Hope for an injury free game.

I dont get how these playoff's work. If Rummel is a higher seed, why are we playing at Westgate?

Rummel had home games in the playoffs. While Westgate traveled once.

I think its a stupid system myself. The #1 seed should get home field advantage throughout.

So Rummel goes 10-0 in the regular season while Wesgate loses 4 games, but it's fair that Westgate is home in this game? Ok chief.

It's fair because westgate already had to travel in the playoffs...

That doesn't make it fair. The higher seed should be at home throughout
Westgate has gotten the regional and the quarterfinal playoff game at home already.
Either way, it will be a great game.

I'm pretty sure that's not how it works.
My general understanding is, and I'm no expert here, but, whoever has had less home playoff games thus far, is the home team for the upcoming game. If they've each had the same number of home playoff games, the higher seed is the home team.
I don't know how they decide for the 1st round.

Regular season should count for home field. It's not fair, but that's just how it is, so whatever.
