Ridiculous.

BS officiating resulted in a 14-point swing in the first quarter.

The block in the back on Vaughn's pick 6 was b.s. as was the celebration penalty (see picture below) as was the OOB call on Hodge's TD.

Both teams could point to missed calls or bad calls by the officials all day long. The bottom line is Ole Miss dominated the line of scrimmage, deserved to win the game, tried to give the game away and your coach refused to accept their kind gesture.

You are right....just ignore this portion of the play.

The officiating was correct in both calls against Ole Myth. Jefferson was pushed in the back and your guy went out of bounds. The scoreboard is what matters, and we did everything we needed to do in the last 3 minutes to win the game... and we should have. Everything except manange the clock. Lucky you.

He was forced out of bounds by the defender and attempted to immediately come back into the field of play. It was a bullshite call.

Please, the block in the back was a ticky tack call. Like another poster said on this board, it wasn't "horrible" by any means. But, it was a ticky tack call on contact that had no effect on the outcome of the play. Jefferson was on his way down to the ground before he was ever touched. He turned his back at the last second. And, the guy barely laid a few fingers on him in the first place.

All in the eyes of the beholder. I just wish Houston Nutt would've called time out like he said he almost did. Then he'd be taking the wrap.

That would work if there was an exemption for "attempted", but there's not. He failed and so did you for trying to re-write the rule book.

No, he did come back in bounds. I'm not sure why you're BWHahahahaing. My team won. I'm eating the hell out of some fried turkey today and making plans for a bowl game in a warm location. Life is good.

MakersMarkReb,

Caeci caecos ducentes = the blind leading the blind.....

plans for a bowl game in a warm location. Life is good.

So you believe in the weather man? Heck it might be raining cats and dogs when you play and it may be a nice comfortable sunshinie day when the LSU TIGERS play their game!

Nemo ante mortem beatu, nemo propheta in patria sua.

Good Luck to all of the LSU Football Tigers playing their last game in Tiger Stadium this coming Senior Night.

This is such a retarded argument. The clock doesn't stop on a first down the second the player hits the ground. The clock stops when the official waves his arms to blow the play dead. One second was correct.

You enjoy 2007, 2003 or whenever. I'll enjoy 2008 and 2009. Funny you talk about us shitting the bed when you're own team did the same. Neither one of us deserved to be in the top 10 preseason.

Nah, I'm not bitching. Just pointing out how silly it is for an LSU fan to claim you guys got screwed. Happy Thanksgiving and see you next year in Baton Rouge if you even attend the games.

To be forced out of bounds doesn't mean getting shoved 5-7 yards from the sideline and YOU drifting out of bounds.

Forced out of bounds means you are shoved out AT the sideline and were trying to stay in bounds. He didn't even try to stay in bounds.

Furthermore, you are forgetting the fact he didn't hold onto the ball when he came down and it would've been reviewed for that and possibly called incomplete. It should've been incomplete to begin with. He has to maintain the catch THROUGH his going to the ground.

That is why Bama's TE's catch was waived off against LSU.

He is right about this - it is what any reasonable person would think. That LSU allowed 17 seconds to run off has nothing to do with the fact that the clock should have been stopped at 3 and no certainly with no less than 2 seconds. You can snap and spike in a second.

Ole Miss stole one there even with LSU's stupidity.
